Buffalo RiverSupply Co.Compare all four configurations
Choose how your dry-in package gets built.
Every Buffalo River package includes the coordinated materials for a dry-in shell. Choose uncut lumber, precut components, preframed walls, or Thermatech exterior panels—with REZ Wood and typical-lumber options.
Quick comparison
The same dry-in scope. Four levels of preparation.
Start with how much work you want completed before the truck reaches your jobsite. Final availability, engineering, takeoff, delivery, and project-specific details are confirmed in the written quote.
REZ Wood or typical lumber
Choose the framing that fits your project.
REZ Wood is the treated-lumber option for our uncut-bunk, precut, and preframed dry-in packages, as well as the interior walls paired with Thermatech exteriors. Typical lumber is also available in each wood configuration.
- REZ Wood treatments designed to help resist mold, rot, and wood-boring pests, including termites
- Typical lumber for conventional untreated framing
- Optional fire-retardant-treated lumber quoted separately where supported by the final design and supplier documentation
- Treatment, warranty, storage, and availability confirmed by selection
- Interior wall framing included in every dry-in package

Exterior framing and insulation arrive together.
Thermatech panels are for exterior walls only. The complete dry-in package pairs them with interior lumber bunks or preframed interior walls, available in REZ Wood or typical lumber, plus the same standard exterior, roof, opening, and trim scope.
- Thermatech panels form the exterior wall system
- Factory-controlled panel production and faster field setup
- Framing, insulation, thermal-break, and air/vapor-barrier functions coordinated in one exterior panel
- A June 2026 third-party assessment modeled the 5.5-inch Thermatech assemblies at approximately R-20.5 to R-21.1
- In the report's model, a conventional wall would need roughly R-42 to R-43 in wood framing or R-49 to R-50 in steel framing to compare*
- *Comparative modeled performance, including assumed air-leakage improvement; the higher numbers are not directly tested Thermatech insulation ratings

What's included
Every package is a complete dry-in material package.
The selected wall system changes how the framing arrives. The coordinated standard scope stays with the project.
Four ways to build your dry-in package
Available configurations.
Every configuration includes the coordinated dry-in materials. Choose the wall-framing preparation that fits your crew, timeline, and jobsite.
01Dry-in package · field-cut framingUncut Lumber BunksFull-length lumber plus coordinated dry-in materials. Your crew measures, cuts, and assembles the walls onsite.Available inREZ WoodMold, rot & wood-boring pest resistanceTypical lumberConventional framing lumberSee what's included+

Choose uncut REZ Wood or typical lumber. Buffalo River organizes the plan-based framing into job-ready bunks while your crew handles measuring, field cutting, and assembly. The coordinated dry-in materials come with either lumber choice.

- Full-length exterior and interior wall framing in REZ Wood or typical lumber
- Organized plan-based material bunks
- Windows
- Exterior doors
- Siding supplied for field cutting onsite
- Roofing supplied for field cutting onsite
- Radiant-barrier roof sheathing
- Engineered trusses or reviewed conventional roof-framing lumber bunks
- Weather-resistive barrier where required by the selected wall assembly
- Fascia
- Soffit
- Exterior trim
- Beams and columns where required by the plan and engineering
- Available plan and print package
Best for: Experienced framers who want a complete dry-in material scope with maximum field flexibility.

Thermatech panels are for the exterior walls. The package combines exterior framing and insulation before delivery, plus all coordinated dry-in materials. For the interior, choose full-length lumber bunks or preframed walls in REZ Wood or typical lumber.
Explore Thermatech ↗High-efficiency note: A June 2026 third-party thermal model says a conventional wall would need roughly R-42 to R-43 in wood framing or R-49 to R-50 in steel framing to compare with the modeled Thermatech system. The Thermatech assemblies themselves modeled at approximately R-20.5 to R-21.1; the higher numbers are comparative equivalents that include assumed air-leakage improvement, not directly tested Thermatech insulation ratings.
